Joost Bakker

Joost Bakker will explore his journey over the last two decades highlighting the wasteful ways of the world in a creative approach by creating famed establishments such as Melbourne’s first zero-waste restaurant Silo and later on, Perth’s Greenhouse. He then went on to building his company Built by Joost. At Future Food, he will share his experience and how he conceptualise his establishments and to get us to rethink our relationship with food. How did something that’s supposed to sustain us, had become one of the most destructive things on the planet today.
