Deciding on a profession is one of the most critical decisions for a young person to make. Beyond all research and advice, how can the dream be achieved? Current scenario offers various options on how one can pursue tertiary education in a chosen field. Architecture is no different. Based on variables like affordability, geographical preference, timeline, interest and opportunity, a student will decide the chosen road map which will lead him or her to the dream of becoming an Architect.
As a student matures and learns about the various facets of Architecture, he or she will encounter more decision-making. The industry is complex with many opportunities in different capacities, thus, students must be open-minded about all the possibilities.

About The Speaker
Born and bred in Kuala Lumpur, Zaini was a pioneer student of KPP/ITM MUCIA program and obtained his Associate Degree from Indiana University, Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and Master of Architecture from The University of Michigan, USA. After being employed at FD Architects Partnership for seven years, he became the Managing Director of Zenithal Creative Works Sdn Bhd in the year 2000. In 2004, he became a registered Professional Architect and Principal of Zaini Mufti Architect until 2006, where he co-founded Z&SR Architectural Ventures Sdn Bhd.
