Urban Sketching Seminar- ‘Painting with Pencil’

Organised by The Kuala Lumpur Urban Sketchers (KLUSk), a seminar themed ‘Painting with Pencil’ will be conducted by guest instructor Architect Asnee Tasna from Bangkok University and Arsomsilp Institute of the Arts, Bangkok. Asnee has been an Urban Sketcher’ correspondent since 2008 and was an instructor for Usk’s 2nd Symposium of 2011 in Lisbon, 6th Symposium’s sketch tour group leader in Singapore (2015) and many more.

Miss Dorathy Lye Li Miang, an artist and art educator from Singapore, will also be conducting a sketching sharing session. Her interest in heritage and culture observed of one’s lived environment has led to friendships forged locally and internationally. She believes in the artistic and educational value of on-location drawing and likewise, strives to ‘See the World, One Drawing at a Time’

The seminar will kick start on the 5th July 2019 (Friday) from 2.30pm- 6.00pm held in collaboration with ARCHIDEX, the International Architecture, Interior Design & Building Exhibition.
